Samsung Smart Factory is striving to contribute to the development of
the domestic manufacturing industry by supporting SMEs to secure
self-sustainability, regardless of whether they have business
relationship with Samsung.

Program Details

  • A dedicated team of over  170 experts in manufacturing and quality management
    has been formed and is actively operating.

    Linked with the ESG & Smart Factory Support Center,
    Smart Factory Academy, and Win-Win Cooperation Academy

  • In collaboration with government agencies (Ministry of SMEs and Startups),
    the program supports efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs.

    over  9 years (as of June 2024)

In 2015, Samsung identified challenges in the manufacturing environment of SMEs
through an operational status survey and initiated customized smart factory
support to integrating Samsung’s manufacturing technologies and
successful know-how into small and medium-sized enterprises.
