Inside
A program that fosters in-house ventures by implementing the creative ideas of Samsung employees.
Supports project execution for one year, and successful projects are either utilized internally or spun off into independent companies (spin-offs).

Key Achievements

  • Supported approximately 900 startups to date:
    around 400 through Samsung C-Lab Inside and 500
    through Samsung C-Lab Outside (as of June 2024)

  • Operating Samsung C-Lab Outside campuses
    in Seoul, Daegu, Gwangju, and Gyeongsan

Following the launch of Samsung C-Lab
Inside (in-house ventures) in 2012,
Samsung C-Lab Outside (support for
domestic startups) was initiated in 2018.

Through Samsung C-Lab, Samsung has
established a virtuous cycle system of
discovering, developing, and
commercializing creative ideas, fostering
sustainable innovation and contributing
to the growth of the domestic startup
ecosystem.

Employees supported by the Samsung C-Lab Inside program are actively working on problem-solving tasks. This is the exhibition space for Samsung C-Lab spin-offs. Employees of a startup supported by Samsung C-Lab Outside are having a meeting.

Samsung C-Lab Inside/Outside campuses are currently
operating in Seoul, Suwon, Daegu, Gwangju, and Gyeongsan (Gyeongbuk).
